The David Law Firm is excited to announce Attorney Byron David has been appointed to the Horry County Schools Advisory Board. David was elected to represent District 2, serving a term through 2022.
“I am humbled and thankful to serve our schools in this way,” said Attorney Byron David. “Education is vitally important, and I look forward to serving on the Advisory Board and District Appeals Board.”
The purpose of the Horry County School Advisory Board is to provide a communication link between the community and the school; inform the school or District administration of pertinent personnel matters; provide the names of advisory board members from each high school attendance area to serve on a rotating basis on a District Appeal Board to hear appeals of decisions made by the District’s hearing officers; and make recommendations concerning District policies.
Attorney Byron David opened his own law practice, The David Law Firm, in 2008, concentrating in three practice areas: Personal Injury (Automobile Accidents, Wrongful Death, etc.), Social Security Disability and Workers’ Compensation. Attorney David has been voted Best Attorney Finalist for eight years in the Horry Independent’s Readers’ Choice Awards, along with being named “Top 40 Under 40” from The National Advocates. Attorney David is also admitted to practice in The United States Supreme Court, the highest judicial body in the United States.
